Bottled in 2010 and blended by Ichiro Akuto, this is a blend of single Japanese malts, (mainly from the old Hanyu and new Chichibu distilleries) which have been aged in Japanese Mizunara wood casks (commonly known as 'Japanese oak').

Appearance:

Clear, bright light golden amber.

Aroma:

Hydrated to approx. 40% yields enchanting, delicately spiced, honeyed with crumbled digestive/ginger biscuits, warmed apple juice, pink grapefruit zest and floral honeysuckle.

Taste:

Richly flavoured fruity, honeyed palate which a bitter toffee sour apple note.

Aftertaste:

Medium length finish has a lingering bitterness.
