Royal Oak golden rum is one of a stable of rums distilled by the Trinidadian firm of Angostura. It is made from molasses using column distillation and is a blend of 3-6 year old rums.

Appearance:

Clear, pale amber.

Aroma:

(bottle No. 661155) Buttery oaked nose with leather, coconut oil, light cinnamon spice and a note of linseed oil based old-fashioned paint.

Taste:

Leathery, buttery, vanilla rich palate with aggressive peppery spiced, burnt plastic back note.

Aftertaste:

Bitter, burnt crème caramel, burnt plastic finish.
