Review and Tasting


Sampled before 1st May 2011

Appearance:

Dark brown, almost black with thick long lasting off-white head.

Aroma:

Prune and liquorice nose with pine hops, cardamom and spice.

Taste:

Slightly sweet, fruity, toffee, almost meaty palate with liquorice and mild spice. The very high alcohol content is well masked.

Aftertaste:

Spicy caramel, liquorice finish.
