Review and Tasting

Sampled on 29/04/2012

Appearance:

Clear, honey golden appearance.

Aroma:

Wonderfully inviting buttery honey, golden syrup with overripe banana, almonds, nougat, fudge, old oak and smoky tobacco.

Taste:

Full-bodied palate balances sweet notes against espresso coffee bitterness and dry oaky notes with an overriding maple syrup/honey silkyness.

Aftertaste:

Butterscotch, fudge and tobacco spice last throughout the slightly white peppery finish.
