Lovers of Duval may recognise the bottle shape, and so they should, Vedett is brewed by the folk at Duval, who launched this pilsner lager in their home market back in 1945. More recently Vedett has benefitted from the retro design treatment.
The back label features black and white photos of Vedett drinkers and the brewery regularly prints batches of different consumers, everyone a limited edition.

Appearance:
Clear, pale bright golden yellow with thin head and slight lacing.
Aroma:
Grassy nose with aromas reminiscent of cabbage water and sticky saffron rice.
Taste:
Very light and clean with biscuity malt and mildly bitter hops.
Aftertaste:
Cleansing, dry hop finish.
