Launched in July 2008, as the name would suggest, Vedett Extra White is a Belgium wheat beer with a cloudy appearance when poured due to second fermentation in the bottle.

Sampled on 27/02/2014

Appearance:

Cloudy, light sand yellow with a thin white head.

Aroma:

Yeasty, wet papier-mâché with faint cardamom and white pepper spice.

Taste:

Sweet ‘n’ sour, thin, light palate with delicate zesty lemon, spice and faint rhubarb.

Aftertaste:

White pepper and watery lemon and rhubarb juice.
