Named after the sailing boats which pepper Norfolk's coast, this bottle-conditioned bitter is made using Maris Otter and Crystal Malt with Goldings and Styrian Goldings hops.
Sampled on 25/03/2012
Clear, coppery amber with a thin white head.
Subdued nose with the merest hint of lemon/lime zest rising over light hops and biscuity malt.
Session ale in both alcohol and flavour - not too much but holds interest. Mildly bitter with lightly grassy hops and lime zestyness.
Lightly bitter with lingering lime peel oils and thyme spice.
