Appearance:

Dark, deep mahogany with beige head and some lacing.

Aroma:

Dried figs, molasses/treacle, tobacco and bread dough.

Taste:

Full-on malts and hops, bitter palate with hefty whack of alcohol. Dried fruit, burnt sugar and a splash of bitter mocha coffee.

Aftertaste:

Long, bitter finish with lingering cacao and coffee.
