Named in honour of the birth year of the first Botran distilling family member, this is a blend of rums between 5 and 18 years-old, aged through a modified solera process employing several types of casks, including ex-bourbon, re-charred American oak and ex-sherry.

Appearance:

Clear, deep coppery amber.

Aroma:

Mocha coffee, apple tarte tatin, caramel and rolling tobacco with vanilla, dark chocolate and light cinnamon.

Taste:

Rich and slightly sweet, buttered fruit cake containing plump raisons, gingernut biscuit with lightly cinnamon spiced dry oak and salty caramel.

Aftertaste:

Cracked black pepper and candied ginger spiced caramel and fudge cake.
