Thomas Henry was an apothecary in Manchester, England who is credited with first producing carbonated water. A German company has adopted his name for their tonic water and range of other carbonates and these Tonic Bitters are the result of a collaboration between them and The Bitter Truth.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber with polished gold highlights.

Aroma:

Pungent, fresh orange and lemon zest with coriander and white pepper spice.

Taste:

Moderately bitter citrus zest with zingy coriander.

Aftertaste:

Long, very long citrus zest finish with bark bitterness. Consider using in place of orange bitters in cocktails or to add citrus zing to a G&T.
