Review and Tasting

Sampled on 03/11/2012

(cask No. 4021) Clear, deep bronze amber with burnished bronze highlights.

Pungent resiny oak, pencil shavings, tobacco and cedar wood. A splash of water reveals toffee apple and clove spice.

A huge and hugely rewarding palate with red fruits and pronounced cedar wood and cinnamon spice.

Long and slightly herbal with lingering woody sherry and clove spice.
