An Indian pale ale made with the New Zealand hop Nelson Sauvin at Bermondsey’s Kernel Brewery.
Sampled on 11/12/2012
Cloudy, burnish copper orangey amber with thin white head.
Pungent, not quite ripe apricot/ greengage with a fresh applemint note, acacia blossom and spruce needles.
Alcohol and hops pack a punch with toasted hops and faint apricot preserve fruit.
Long lingering piney hop bitterness.
