The American-made and owned version of the French wine-based aperitif of the same name.

Clear, deep burgundy red.

Herbal wine with bay leaf.

Taste:

On the dry bitter side of bittersweet with red wine, quinine, caramel, rosemary, bay leaf and cinnamon spice.

Overall:

Drier, more herbal and robust than the French-made Dubonnet. This American Dubonnet ls arguably more similar to rouge quinquina such as Saint-Raphaël Rouge.
