Bersano Grappa di Brachetto is made from the pomace of Brachetto grapes grown in Bersano’s estates in Piedmont.

    Review and Tasting

    Sampled on 05/12/2013

    Appearance

    Crystal clear.

    Aroma

Slightly mouldy melon, apple and peach (but in an endearing way) with linseed oil and subtle spice.

    Taste

Fruity peach and pear sweetness balanced by spicy alcohol attack.

    Aftertaste

Green grape notes bust out at the start of the relatively short finish with spice then smoothing oiliness. There’s plenty of character and a touch of fire to this traditionally styled grappa.
