Review and Tasting

Sampled on 11/01/2014

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber with faint green tinge.

Aroma:

Dried fruit, sherry, old oak wardrobe and leather with nutmeg and cinnamon. Water amplifies oak, sherry and raisony fruit.

Taste:

Dry and oaky with pencil shavings, cigar box, coal tar, burnt raisony fruit cake and nutmeg. Perfectly enjoyable at full-strength but water opens with fruit, oak and spice sitting in perfect kilter.

Aftertaste:

Oaky, charcoal and mild nutmeg spice. Delicious.
