Like moonshine, ‘white lightning’ is a name used in the USA for illicitly distilled high-proof spirits. It was common for moonshiners to disguise the quality of their distillates by flavouring them with fruit and spices. This modern day legal version is flavoured with cinnamon and apple juice.

Appearance:

Clear, bright pale golden.

Aroma:

Biscuity leather, stewed apple, cinnamon, cinnamon and apple donuts with faint vanilla.

Taste:

Good balanced between cinnamon spirity spice, citric acidity and stewed apple and vanilla sweetness.

Aftertaste:

Sweet stewed apple, whiskey and cinnamon.
