This Irish triple distilled single malt is aged in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry seasoned casks for 8 to 12 years (no-age-statement). Each batch consists of a maximum of 6,000 bottles and each bottle carries a batch number.

Review and Tasting


Sampled on 14/10/2014

Appearance:

Clear, deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Vanilla, toffee fudge, tree bark, brazil nuts, nutmeg and cinnamon with faint chocolate, apricot, nectarines and peach.

Taste:

Creamy mocha coffee, vanilla fudge, dried orchard fruit, brazil nuts, nutmeg and buttery oak with cracked black pepper and ginger spice. Faint pear drops, honey and orange zest.

Aftertaste:

Chocolate powder, vanilla, black pepper, brazil nuts and ginger biscuits.
