Introduced as a travel retail exclusive in April 2014, this no-age-statement Islay malt was predominately aged in Spanish sherry seasoned casks. It takes its name from the Black Rock of Islay which rises out of Loch Indaal.

Appearance:

Clear, coppery amber.

Aroma:

Apple wood smoke, pencil graphite/tar, new leather and honey with earthy mocha coffee, dark cherry chocolate and orange.

Taste:

Light peat smoky, vanilla oak, sherry and mild cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Vanilla, peat smoke and sea salt. A sherried peaty dram.
