Appearance:

Opaque, deep brown/black with thick retentive beige head and heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Treacle, toasted nuts, freshly ground coffee and dark chocolate with faint berry notes.

Taste:

Rich but with balancing bitterness. Heavy roasted chocolaty malt, liquorice, espresso coffee and dark chocolate.

Aftertaste:

Burnt malt, coffee and dark chocolate.
