Originally contract distilled at Langley Distillery near Birmingham, pleasingly, as the name suggests, it is now made in the heart of Edinburgh at a purpose built distillery with nine classic gin botanicals including juniper, coriander, citrus peel and orris root. Juniper berries, milk thistle, pine
and heather are macerated with the gin distillate at about 60% alc./vol. before being filtered and reduced to a bottling strength of 43% alc./vol.

Appearance:
Crystal clear.
Aroma:
Up-front pine, lavender and camphor juniper with coriander seeds giving candied ginger, lemon and sage. Notes of parma violet, celery and toasted almond with cracked black pepper.
Taste:
Piney juniper to the fore with liquorice, creamy almond nuttiness and refreshing coriander, zesty citrus and parma violet.
Aftertaste:
Cracked black pepper and pine with faint almond and parma violet.
Overall:
Juniper and coriander dominate with zesty citrus and a pleasing creamy nuttiness.
