Originally contract distilled at Langley Distillery near Birmingham, pleasingly, as the name suggests, it is now made in the heart of Edinburgh at a purpose built distillery with nine classic gin botanicals including juniper, coriander, citrus peel and orris root. Juniper berries, milk thistle, pine
and heather are macerated with the gin distillate at about 60% alc./vol. before being filtered and reduced to a bottling strength of 43% alc./vol.
