Described on the neck label as being a “Lager with fruit juices from concentrate and lime & ginger flavouring. This also suggests the ‘lager’ base is brewed from barley and wheat.

Review and Tasting

Sampled on 01/09/2014

Appearance:

(sample best before 31/Dec/14) Hazy, very pale amber - slightly milky. No head.

Aroma:

Grassy/dried grass with candied ginger and lime zest.

Taste:

Slightly sweet but partially balancing lime zesty citrus. The lime note are cooked rather than flesh lime – think lime cordial, while ginger notes are candied.

Aftertaste:

Lager shandy-like finish with faint candied/biscuity ginger. Will appeal to an audience looking for a very low strength long drink.
