A Dutch distilled gin aged for an undisclosed period in American oak.

Appearance:

(sample batch N0. 001, year 2013) Clear, pale straw golden.

Aroma:

Pine, buttery vanilla and eucalyptus with cardamom, clove and black pepper spice.

Taste:

Faint sweetness is quickly dried by spiced (cardamom, clove, cinnamon and black pepper) oak attach which subsides to reveal delicate eucalyptus, banana and coriander with toasted almonds. Water exposes notes of raisin.

Aftertaste:

Spicy pine, blackened banana and eucalyptus finish with dry tea-like tannins. Possibly a tad over oaked but wonderfully complex.
