Perfecto Amor (Perfect Love) is a blend of pisco fortified grape juice form Quebranta, Italia and Torontel varietals.

Each grape is pressed and fermented separately, then fortified with pisco distilled from the same grape variety. This raises the alcohol strength to a level that kills the yeast, stopping fermentation before the yeast has converted all the sugar into alcohol, thus retaining natural sugars in the grape juice. The fortified varietals are then blended together to make BarSol Perfecto Amor.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Sherry and madeira cake with pronounced raisin and sultana, macadamia nuts, fudge and quince.

Taste:

Raisins, prunes and plump sultana with orange, mild cinnamon and peppery spice, mocha coffee and caramel.

Aftertaste:

Honeyed sultana with mild spice.

Overall:

A wonderfully fruity aperitif with plump sultana fruit and mild pepper and cinnamon spice. Reminiscent of pineau de charente.
