Released in October 2015 as the forth in the “anCnoc Peaty Collection”, Rascan is named after a traditional peat cutting tool. Matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels for nearly a decade, Rascan has a phenol content of 11.1 parts per million (ppm). Read more

Clear, very pale golden amber.
Lightly smoky earthy peat, old leather and honey with zippy green apple skin and faint zesty orange.
Dry, faintly bitter, smoky earthy peat and old leather with burnt rubbery notes.
Lightly smoky old leather with faint floral notes.
Bags of smoky earthy peat with some burnt rubbery notes. Despite the big flavours this very dry malt is thin in body.
