Appearance:
(sample BBE May/2016) Slight haze, pale sandy yellow with a retentive ivory white head and light lacing.
Aroma:
Earthy and yeasty with white pepper spice and white bread crust malts.
Taste:
More yeast with black pepper, piney hops and white bread crust.
Aftertaste:
The palate fades with some grapefruit zestiness.
Overall:
Reminiscent of a Belgium saison with yeasty flavours and refreshing peppery spice.
