Founded in 1905 by Gennaro Fabbri, Fabbri is brand best-known for its Marena con frutto (amarena cherries in syrup), inspired by a recipe of Gennaro Fabbri's wife. This concentrated syrup has the same flavour profile as the famous amarena cherries.

Appearance:

(sample bottle BB 27/Jan/19) Clear, deep ruby red.

Aroma:

Pungent cherry with faint marzipan and chocolate.

Taste:

Intensely rich cherry fruit with faint amaretto notes.

Aftertaste:

Lingering morello cherry.

Overall:

Very rich, intensely morello cherry flavoured syrup.
