Review and Tasting

Sampled before 1st May 2011

Appearance:

Clear, burnished gold.

Aroma:

Creosote (woodier than tar) with aromas of overly ripe/rotting fruit skin, hints of shellfish, olive oil and green vegetable/heather notes.

Taste:

The mildly smoky palate has salty malt notes.

Aftertaste:

Peat smoke is more apparent in the lingering finish.
