Review and Tasting

Sampled on 17/12/2018

Appearance:

(sample bottle best before 08/Aug/19) Clear, golden amber with thin but retentive white head and light lacing.

Aroma:

Malty, crusty baguette straight from the oven, burnt caramel.

Taste:

Medium-bodied (surprisingly full-bodied for a pilsner). Good toasty malt notes, caramel and pronounced, lightly floral, hop bitterness.

Aftertaste:

Long, malty moderately bitter finish.

Overall:

A full-flavoured and malty pilsner. Crisp, cleansing and with malty caramel flavours reminiscent of an English bitter.
