Appearance:

Crystal clear. Louches when water is added.

Aroma:

Pungent and spirituous with piney juniper and nutty angelica root. Water amplifies aromas, releasing spicy, herbal and citrus aromas.

Taste:

Even with a generous splash of water, this huge gin is still spirituous and spicy, but very enjoyable with piney juniper, woody and nutty notes, subtle zesty citrus and assertive peppery spice.

Aftertaste:

Long spicy and piney finish.

Overall:

Such is the concentration of flavoursome oils captured in suspension in this overproof gin that when water (or tonic) is added they drop out of suspension, releasing flavour and turning the previously clear spirit slightly milky. One bottle makes a lot of flavoursome G&Ts.
