Don Julio proudly claim this to be “the world’s first Añejo Claro tequila.” Don Julio 70 is aged for 18 months in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and then charcoal filtered to become a crystal clear añejo tequila.
Don Julio 70 was launched in the US in 2011 “in honour of the 70th anniversary of the year Don Julio González began perfecting the art of tequila making.”
