Made by two undisclosed Tennessee distillers to Uncle Nearest specifications, including the use of the Lincoln County Process filtration which involves the dripping of whiskey drip through sugar maple charcoal for 14 days prior to aging in new American oak barrels.

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Pineapple kombucha, cigar leaf, vanilla fudge, ripe peach, banana chews, clean plastic box, cinnamon, clove and white pepper spice. Faint menthol, aniseed and struck match with water.

Taste:

Dry toasty oak tannins, cigar leaf and not quite ripe pineapple with black pepper, clove and cinnamon spice. Water releases vanilla, peach and chamois leather.

Aftertaste:

Dry toasty oak, charcoal, vanilla, and light black pepper spice.

Overall:

Big and chewy, this 100 proof Tennessee whiskey benefits from a splash of water. Pleasingly fruity with dry oak tannins mellowed by vanilla and ripe peach.
