Review and Tasting

Sampled on 22/03/2021

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Superbly clean with very faint piney aniseed/peppermint and delicate white pepper.

Taste:

Initial entry is very slightly sweet but quickly dries as refreshing aniseed notes unfold garnished with vanilla, toasted almond, and light black pepper spice

Aftertaste:

Vanilla rubbed roast almond notes are more pronounced in the faintly aniseed influenced lightly black pepper spiced finish.

Overall:

Honey has traditionally been added to mellow and delicately flavour Russian vodkas, this, along with the vanilla and toasted almond distillates very subtly influence Onegin Vodka adding delicate complexity. It should not be confused with a "flavoured vodka".
