Review and Tasting

Sampled on 14/06/2021

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Peppery nose tingling spirituous spice and piney juniper.

Taste:

Intense with generous botanical concentration and high alcohol strength. Piney juniper leads with muscular spice, coriander, and faint zesty orange. Faint sweetness amplifies the botanical flavours and helps soften the alcohol.

Aftertaste:

Very long, spicy piney juniper. Woody angelica emerges as the finish develops.

Overall:

Just as an Old Tom Gin should be - generous in botanical flavour with the merest hint of sweetness. This bottling is also generous in its alchol strength.
