Review and Tasting

Sampled on 30/09/2021

Appearance:

Clear, golden amber.

Aroma:

Vanilla fudge, toffee apple, toasted butter, dried banana, dried mango, and faint struck match.

Taste:

Pecan nuts, vanilla, fudge, dried mango and coffee with assertive cinnamon and black pepper spice. Faint burnt vegetal note.

Aftertaste:

Long and spicy with vanilla and faint burnt (matchbox lighting strip) note.

Overall:

The pleasing vanilla notes you'd expect from a grain whisky with dried mango, fudge, assertive spice, and a distinctive burnt note. Excellent considering its relatively young age.
