Père Magloire V.S.O.P. is a Pays d'Auge Calvados aged for at least four years in oak casks. Père Magloire, the leading brand of Calvados in France and the rest of the world, is owned and produced by the Debrise-Dulac company which was established in 1821.

Appearance:

Clear, deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Clean, cider/fermenting apple juice with baked apple pie, floral apple blossom, mild cumin and clove spice.

Taste:

Backed apple pie cider and nutty vanilla with warming waves of spice and balancing bitter spicy oak tannins.

Aftertaste:

Long finish with nubuck leather, lingering oak bitterness, roasted nuts and cider reduction.
