Gancia Bianco, which launched in 1934, is said by some to be "the first-ever vermouth bianco in the world." Martini Bianco was launched in 1910.

Appearance:

Clear, very pale straw gold.

Aroma:

Fruity, oxidised wine with ashtray (with a little fresh ash), fresh bay leaf and hairspray (in an appealing way).

Taste:

Slightly sweet and honeyed white wine with zesty lemon, ginger and cinnamon spice.

Aftertaste:

Sweet cooked apple with cinnamon spice.

Overall:

Sweet and honeyed with zesty lemon, ginger and cinnamon. Hints of fresh bay leaf.
