Giffard Grapefruit Alcohol-Free is made from a maceration of grapefruit zest in white wine vinegar.

One of Giffard's range of non-alcoholic shrubs with rich aromas and flavour while having low levels of sugar for use in cocktails and mixed drinks as an alternative to a liqueur of flavoured syrup.

Ingredients
Water, sugar, grapefruit infusion (white wine vinegar, grapefruit zests), concentrated lemon juice, natural pink grapefruit flavourings with other natural flavourings, apple extract, black carrot concentrate, preservatives: potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate.

Storage & use
Store in a dry and cool place, ideal away from light.
Beware of use by date and consume within four months of opening.

Appearance:

Clear, yellow-orange amber.

Aroma:

Pungent zesty grapefruit and lemon with delicate rose petal.

Taste:

Sour zesty grapefruit, lemon and lemongrass with light bitterness. Syrupy mouthfeel.

Aftertaste:

Lingering zesty grapefruit and lemon acidy.

Overall:

A useful cocktail ingredient, particularly for low and no-alcohol drinks. Could be used in place of lime cordial in cocktails such as a Gimlet.
