Made from grapes grown near the River Crouch in Essex, England, below 55m altitude. Small batch fermented and then aged for 11 months in oak casks, 32% new oak.

Clear, light scarlet red.
Red berry fruit and plums with tobacco leaf and faint farmyard.
Plum fruit with blackcurrant dried with tannins, elegant oak and subtle earthiness.
Medium length. Plum and blackcurrant with attractive tannins and subtle earthiness.
Reminiscent of a less intense young Burgundy Gamay.
