Appearance:
Clear, mid-deep golden amber.
Aroma:
Attractive toasty oak, vanilla and maple with lemon, honeysuckle, delicate clove and cinnamon. Faint wisps of smoke and dark chocolate.
Taste:
Toasty oak leads with cinnamon, clove and black pepper spiced caramel, honey and vanilla.
Aftertaste:
More toasty oak with maple, honey and vanilla. Lingering baking spices.
Overall:
A brilliant cocktail rye and a satisfying sipper with assertive spice and dry toasty oak mellowed by pleasing caramel, honey and vanilla notes.
