Review and Tasting

Sampled on 22/10/2025

Appearance:

Hazy, deep golden yellow amber.

Aroma:

Raw honey with herbal citrus notes.

Taste:

Bittersweet quinine and honey with a touch of cola, then zesty grapefruit and bitter orange.

Aftertaste:

Honey and zesty grapefruit with lingering honey and quinine.

Overall:

Interesting, complex and a genuinely innovative product. Served one part Beesou to two parts prosecco, as recommended on the bottle, makes for a pleasing aperitivo and alternative to a classic spritz.
