Appearance:

(sample bottle best before end Mar/16) Opaque, muddy brown with retentive thick beige head and good lacing.

Aroma:

Freshly baked yeasty brown bread and piney hops.

Taste:

Full-bodied. Brown bread, lightly bitter piney hops with faint black pepper spice.

Aftertaste:

Brown bread, lightly bitter hops and cleansing black pepper.

Overall:

A full-bodied, heavy, bready ale balanced by freshening pine hop bitterness and mild black pepper spice.
