Review and Tasting

Sampled on 02/07/2016

Appearance:

(sample can best before 26/Oct/16) Hazy, orange amber with a moderately thick, retentive white head and heavy lacing.

Aroma:

Passionfruit, dried mango and dried apricot with floral, basil and grassy hops.

Taste:

Full-bodied. Tropical fruit – mango, passionfruit and zesty slightly metallic grapefruit with cut grass, pistachio, toasted almond and malty sweetness.

Aftertaste:

Zesty pink grapefruit zest, sweet tropical fruit and bitter cut grass tannins.

Overall:

This moderately bitter IPA is bursting with tropical fruit flavours with underlying sweet nutty maltiness.
