Review and Tasting

Sampled on 24/04/2017

Appearance:

(sample bottle best before 06/Jun/17) Slight haze, deep coppery amber with a retentive light beige head depositing thick lacing.

Aroma:

Freshly baked brown bread, biscuit and pine forest.

Taste:

Full-bodied. Bitter resinous pine and yeasty brown bread with some cut grass.

Aftertaste:

Lingering pine bitterness and pleasant bready maltiness.

Overall:

This Greek IPA has the high alcohol content you’d expect of such a beer with accompanying assertive hoppiness, while far from being a hop bomb.
