This very limited Averna Amaro edition celebrates Don Salvatore who founded the Averna brand in 1868 – so fittingly only 1868 bottles were produced and these have been hand-distributed to friends of the brand rather than being for general sale.

This Edizione Riserva is flavoured with the same 60 different herbs, roots and fruit peels used in Averna Amaro Siciliano but with a much longer maturation period of 21 months. The bottling strength is also significantly higher at 34% alc./vol..
