Made using the pomace of Merlot and Marzemino grapes harvested in the Trentino region and distilled using traditional copper alembic stills before aging in casks of various wood types.
The wax seal on the label of the bottle is part of 'La Mia Grappa' series inspired by the seal used by the authorities during quality control of grappa production.

Appearance:
(sample distilled in 2008) Clear, golden amber.
Aroma:
Herbaceous cut plant stems with apricot, peaches and jasmine blossom.
Taste:
Oily silkiness and peppery spice with grape and dried apricot fruit.
Aftertaste:
Peppery, nut oil finish.
