Yvan Vindevogel, a Belgium pharmacist was inspired to make this London dry gin after reading article on gin in 2013. This led him to work with Bernard Filliers of the Filliers distillery were it is distilled with five botanicals: juniper berries, cardamom, angelica, coriander seeds and orange zest.

Copperhead Gin’s name obviously refers to the copper bottle in which it is presented, but also the copper still in which it is made. Yvan’s pharmaceutical background is reflected the snake like symbol for a pharmacy used on the label along with the phrase, “Consolans potio fortuna inventa,” Latin for ‘medical drink discovered by accident’.

Three styles of Copperhead blends are also available and are designed to be used in conjunction with this gin.
