Review and Tasting

Sampled on 14/11/2015

Appearance:

Crystal clear.

Aroma:

Nutty, woody angelica root with lavender and camphor aromas from generous juniper. Water releases pleasant parma violet and elderflower floral notes.

Taste:

Soft mouthfeel with faint sweetness. Good piney juniper notes with more nutty angelica and parma violet.

Aftertaste:

Nutty balsawood, piney juniper, parma violet and light spice. Lingering woody liquorice.

Overall:

This Irish gin is well-balanced and integrated with distinctive nutty and floral notes over a traditional juniper-led dry gin base.
