Launched in November 2012, this 18 year old expression from Glengoyne replaced the former 17 year old. It is aged in 30-40% first-fill sherry seasoned casks with the balance being refill sherry oak.

Appearance:

Clear, medium to deep coppery amber.

Aroma:

Fabulously appealing nose. Freshly peeled green apple skin, elderflower, fresh lychee, nubuck leather and brazil nuts with old oak, cinnamon and nutmeg spice.

Taste:

Rich and full-bodied with a slug of sherry. Dried fruit, almonds, marzipan, and cocoa with cinnamon, nutmeg and Seville marmalade. Vanilla and dark chocolate are amplified with water.

Aftertaste:

Seville marmalade, vanilla and spice.
