Smoked with hickory and a single whole red chile pepper in the glass
Instructions
1 Combine: Pour the Scotch, Amaretto, fresh orange juice, and orange bitters into a rocks glass over the large ice sphere.
2 Spice: Add the pinch of cayenne pepper directly onto the ice.
3 Incorporate: Stir gently for 10–15 seconds to chill the spirits and distribute the spice without over-diluting.
4 Smoke: Use a smoking gun or cloche to fill the glass with hickory smoke. Let the smoke rest over the drink for 20 seconds to marry the wood notes with the citrus and almond aromas.
5 Release: Lift the cloche and immediately add the garnish.
