Boulard Extra is made using a selection of the oldest and finest casks Maison Boulard hold. The carafe was designed by a French Master Glass-Blower, based on the outskirts of Normandy, and is made to resemble apple wedges. The carafe’s mirrored triptych case unfolds to create an elaborate frame.

Όψη:

Clear, new penny coppery amber.

Μύτη:

Dark chocolate, stewed apples and maraschino cherry with tobacco leaf, roasted coffee beans and cinnamon. Faint smokiness.

Στόμα:

The slightly sweet (added sugar suspected) palate delivers what the nose promises with butterscotch and caramel. Silky, luxurious mouth feel.

Επίγευση:

Burnt toast, spicy cinnamon and baked apple.
